I use Linux Mint 9 and I’ve been trying to burn downloaded movies in VCD format. I’ve managed to burn a DVD with Brasero and I used K3b to burn a VCD but the picture playback was awful, it was showing in the top right quarter of my screen with what seemed to be a menu on the rest of the screen. I’ve looked at the software settings but to no avail. What software do you suggest for both quality and ease of use? Thanks in advance.

devede, its in your repositories so its in your software manager,

open devede

choose video dvd

add files

click ok then forward

choose where you want to save the iso

click ok

burn the completed iso with braserio

job done

  1. K9Copy works well. From there you get an ISO so you can just use your preferred burning program. I like K3B or Brasero.
