I’ve formatted my harddrive that had windows 98 on it and now I’m in trouble. I need help getting Linux or some other computer program on my harddrive. Please help!

Yes, the installer programs will be able to re-format the drive for use with your new OS.

You can also try one of the linux Live CD’s which will allow you to boot and access your hard drive if you need to recover any non-deleted files from it.

  2. Dont worrie it is possible and it is very simple.
First download or buy a linux(try linux mint) cd.
then change the bios settings to boot from cd.
When it boots up press the install button and the follow the rest of the process. You will have to format your hard drive in ext3 format,

Good luck and if you have any problem google for it and if you cannot find an answer ask in a Linux forum.
